Review: K-MUG Tech Event 27 Sept 2014

Event started on time as planned, and by 10:00 AM the hall was house full. Anuraj started with Microsoft Power BI features followed by Microsoft Azure DocumentDB by Shiju Varghese. After the tea and networking break it was Krishnakumar’s turn to discuss on SQL Anti patterns which was a verity topic for the audience. We were running out of time so I had to quickly rush through Microsoft Visual Studio “14” new features and Sagar took the last session “Introduction to Machine Learning”. We were able to windup the session by 1:30

We have distributed the gifts sponsored by ORION India Systems by conducting quizzes between every session pauses with the help of Sagar.

Organizing this event gave us more confident this time as everything went perfect though this was a small – 55-60 audience program.

kmug27Sept2014Kochi At networking break we have discussed along with Praseed Pai regarding the formation of a new Data Science meetup which hopefully we will be organizing soon.

Looking forward for the next technology event.
